About SoarCorp

SOAR is an outpatient substance abuse treatment program specializing in methadone treatment for opiate addiction. Methadone maintenance (long term treatment) or detoxification (short term treatment) combined with a comprehensive therapy program is the most successful treatment approach for heroin or other opiate addiction. Thousands of methadone patients have resumed meaningful lives while in treatment at SOAR.

Multi Disciplinary Team Approach

  • Provides a holistic approach to treatment that includes balancing ones physical and mental stability.
  • Medication Assisted therapy to reduce drug craving for narcotic addicted individuals
  • Educational Services on Relapse Prevention, HIV/AIDS, Hep C and STDs, life skills, educational & employment issues.
  • Individualized Treatment Plans to support recovery goals, abstinence, personal growth and development.
  • Multi-disciplinary approach to support the client's reduction in risky and dangerous behaviors caused by chemical dependency.

Therapeutic Modalities for Medication Assisted Treatment

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides an intensive level of treatment that includes individual counseling and group therapy for three hours per session for three days per week.

Outpatient Program (OP) provides comprehensive treatment including individual counseling and specialty groups, such as:

  • Groups addressing cocaine dependence
  • Parenting skills
  • Life skills
  • 12 Steps
  • Relapse prevention
  • Culture-specific and gender-specific issues
  • Co-occurring issues
  • Anger management
  • Latino issues in recovery
  • Womens issues
  • Mens issues

Treatment Services

While SOAR provides services to those who struggle with addictions, we also recognize that the need to address and treat mental health disorders for the most holistic approach to comprehensive treatment services. Clients who are diagnosed with Co-Occurring Disorders, both Substance Dependency and Mental Illness, will not be refused treatment here at SOAR, these patients will be seen by the SOAR psychiatrist or given a referral to another mental health agency

Licensing and Accreditation

SOAR is CARF accredited. CARF is an Accreditation organization that ensures the delivery of treatment at the highest quality and that it also meets and exceeds national standards. SOAR is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and DEA.
